The Virginia Reproductive Freedom Amendment is a ballot measure which would permanently protect prenatal care, birth control, abortion, miscarriage management, and fertility care. This could amend the VA State Constitution to establish reproductive care as a constitutional right for Virginia residents, and it is on the ballot on November 3, 2026. Two active lawsuits are already trying to block it from getting there.
